In the kitchens that we design and built, our focus is to create kitchen cabinetry that looks more like furniture so integrating an island - with different paint finished, hardware and countertop surface than the rest of your kitchen - helps us acheive that. Some of our islands are table construction as seen in the small photo.
Occasionally, a client will bring us a photo of an antique piece of furniture and ask that we recreate the piece as an island for their kitchen. We welcome these challenges.
